It's hard to believe Christmas has come and gone once again... I hope that you all had a great Christmas with loved ones. I stayed here in Atlanta this year as my immigration renewal paperwork prevented me from leaving the country... It was definitely different but I honestly can't complain, I have a lot of loved ones here but I did miss being home for the holidays and participating in our family's Christmas traditions.

This week has been rather slow and busy at the same time... it's actually one of my favorite times in the office since it's really quiet, co-workers and clients are on vacation so it's a great time to get caught up on things that get pushed back on the to-do list all year long and gear up for the new year.

This is a great time of year for personal reflection... reviewing the year that has past and looking towards the future... setting goals, making plans, dreaming. NYE should be fun as well, I have about 15-20 friends that are all getting together for the evening at a restaurant not too far from home... pretty low key but I think I'm going to enjoy being around close friends vs the big party thing I did last year.
